Achraf Tadili moves to Victoria

After a disappointing 2005 season, the 800m specialist recently decided to make a move to Victoria in preparation for the 2006 season. Tadili has also decided to leave coach Sylvain Lavallée who coached him since 2000 and train with Brent Fougner.

Tadili has been very consistent over the past couple years but hasn’t been able to break his personal best since 2003. This helped Tadili with his decision.

With this move Tadili will be accompanied by the likes of Diane Cummins (800m Canadian Champion) and Gary Reed (800m Canadian Champion and World Championship Finalist) who also train in the Victoria area. Tadili will represent the McGill Athletics Club.
