Achraf Tadili qualifies for the finals of the 800m at the Commonweath Games

Achraf Tadili was the only Canadian of three to qualify for the finals in the 800m. Tadili finished 2nd in his heat with a time of 1:47.67. The other Canadians; Gary Reed of British Columbia finished 10th in 1:47.96 while Quebec’s David Gill finished 12th in 1:49.80. Tadili was very satisfied with his result as he felt he ran a very smart race.
