Montreal track & field star Achraf Tadili knows how expensive and time consuming training to compete in amateur athletics can be for Canadian athletes. With seven days a week devoted to training, Tadili finds little time is left to work and raise money to pay the bills.That’s why Hudson's Bay Company (Hbc) is helping to raise money for athletes like Achraf with its annual Hbc Run for Canada, which will be held in Montreal on Saturday, July 1st. “I compete because I love my sport, and I want to make my friends, family and country proud,” said Achraf Tadili.“But the fact is, to be the best in my sport I have to spend hours each day training, which leaves little time to make money to cover the basics like rent and food.
