Achraf Tadili finishes second in his first European competition of the season

Achraf Tadili competed at the Karelia Games this Thursday in Lappeenranta Finland. Tadili recorded a seasonal best time of 1 :45.84 which was good for a 2nd place finish behind Kenyan Paul Korir (1 :45.64). Sam Burley of the United States rounded off the podium with a 1 :46.04 clocking.

Tadili who went though the first lap around 4th or 5th position had to run wide on the last lap. With 120 meters to go Tadili was forced out into the 3rd and 4th lanes and barely caught the leader at the finish.

Tadili's next race is at the Savo Games which is also in Finland.
