Tadili wins National Title
August 6, 2006
Today Achraf Tadili won the Canadian National Championships in Ottawa, Canada. He finished with a time of 1:48.79 which was over one second ahead of the 2nd place finisher Samuel Burley of BC (1:49.98). Ontario’s Kevin Sullivan finished 3rd in 1:50.16.
Tadili knew he was ready to run fast today and he was sad to hear that the defending champion Gary Reed wouldn’t be able to compete in the final.
This is Tadili’s 2nd national title, his first being Edmonton 2001 where he clocked 1:45.48 at just 21 years of age.
