Tadili the Turk doggone good on his fleet feet

Whenever Achraf Tadili goes for a walk and sees a big dog out of the corner of his eye, he can't help but remember the time he discovered how fast he could sprint.

The 25-year-old native of Casablanca was visiting his uncle's farm when a guard dog got loose. He outran the barking set of teeth on four fleet feet. Let's just say, this Moroccan rolls.

He competes for the fourth time at the Harry Jerome International Track Classic on Thursday at Swangard Stadium. It's the penultimate event in the four-race PacifiCanada track and field series, which kicks off Sunday in Abbotsford, continues Tuesday in Richmond and concludes June 11 in Victoria.
